How Shuja Came to Be
Shuja Temple began as the Greater Metro Atlanta Shrine Club through the vision of Noble La’Micheal V. Eddie, with permission from the 45th Imperial Potentate, the Honorable Eric R. Myers. From an idea among friends and fellow Master Masons, Shuja grew into the 17th Temple of the Desert of Georgia in less than five months.
What Is Shuja?
Shuja is a name of Arabic origin that means “courageous” or “brave.” Often given as a name for boys, it carries a positive connotation associated with the qualities that define our temple.
